Can you still buy a PC3r??

Long story short...My power commander died a horrible death. I need a new one. Is anyone still selling the 3r or am I limited to the USB model? I like the timing feature on the 3r.

I guess if I have to I could run a USB model and a manual ingnition advancer. I just don't really want to go that route...

Thanks.

no only pc3usb.. What you can do is buy the pc3 usb, and then buy the muzzy ignition advance rotor and set it to 5 degrees. In my experience 5 degrees on the rotor works a lot better than 5 degrees in the pc3r. Something to do with ignition scatter.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I already have the Muzzy advancer. Now I just need a new PC.

mine died as well, Im sending it in. I email'd them and they will fix/upgrade them, not sure how much.

Mine died at a gas station, bike wouldn't start, pulled the pc and it runs fine, plug it back in and the bike is dead.

Osti, I'll let you know what they charge me

Did you try "re-setting" it???
The Software can be "re-set" but it looses the map when you do that...
Bad luck...I just sold John's 3R yesturday

I know the module costs a LOT of money but...I like the USBs more and the Ign. module is pretty cool...
It has a "map" just like for fuel...IE-timming goes by Throttle Position and RPM...and you can raise the RevLimit with it!!!

Not sure what you mean about "re-setting"?? Could you explain it a little more?

I tried re-loading the map into it a couple of times but that didn't help anything.

Thanks.
