Saw This at Labusas...Looks Interesting
First of all, thanks to Bear!
After 20 passes, I was not going over 197mph. The best gearing was stock so I installed a set of "borrowed" stacks made by Bear and within a thirty minute window, the next run had the bike in the rev-limiter before the mile with stock gearing....no other changes. I immediately went down two teeth on the rear and the bike made four 201-202mph passes. We had run out of time with no chance to adjust fuel or timing, more could be possible!!
The weather was clear and in the 70's with typical March tail/side winds which had been the same for both days.
I set a new record and both my sons and I became members of the 200 mph club, a GREAT week-end. I was told that it was a first father/son combo to run over 200 on a bike there or at Bonneville.....Cool.
I am sure there will be some doubt about the stacks but I am a believer and so is the group that was with me.
The 12 was screaming and I am very, very proud of that ole scooter.
Thanks again Bear.......You Da Man !!!!!
