I've got a set!! They are works of art, plain and simple. Absolutely perfect fit to the throttle bodies. Wider mouth for more air. Time for a custom map so I can get the full bevefit of the extra air. Thanks, Bear.

Stacks

I received mine friday. I finally purchased something that looks as good up close as it does in pictures! With any luck I be putting mine in tuesday and will take a picture or two. Shouldn't be too hard to install. Take off the cover plates on the airbox and remove two screws on each throttle body to remove the rubber ones.

Install is a breeze!!! Take off the two covers (6 10mm bolts) and all you need is a 10 mm socket, a short extension, and 8 new smaller head bolts to mount the new stacks. I lucked up and found some in my "extras" box.
The reason you don't want to use the factory bolts is because they will mar the top of the stacks a lil bit.

I have told the guy,s that I will do the next run for 10 set's as soon as i get more Interest They sell for $176 inc shipping,if you do it By UPS the cost is $194

I have had some feed back and it sound's good ,Once the stacks are in half of the job is done,You must play with the timing 2to 5Deg advance and more fuel,On big bore you must increse the fuel pressure

Stacks are made for 48mm bodys just need the size of the match point

Bear, I just received an email asking for your address. I don't know if it was someone from Egg's site (200mph) or what. But obviously, the word is getting out!

Results of stacks in USA

http://www.labusas.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=68077#68077

This set was given for testing and got the fist results:

First of all, thanks to Bear!
After 20 passes, I was not going over 197mph. The best gearing was stock so I installed a set of "borrowed" stacks made by Bear and within a thirty minute window, the next run had the bike in the rev-limiter before the mile with stock gearing....no other changes. I immediately went down two teeth on the rear and the bike made four 201-202mph passes. We had run out of time with no chance to adjust fuel or timing, more could be possible!!
The weather was clear and in the 70's with typical March tail/side winds which had been the same for both days.
I set a new record and both my sons and I became members of the 200 mph club, a GREAT week-end. I was told that it was a first father/son combo to run over 200 on a bike there or at Bonneville.....Cool.
I am sure there will be some doubt about the stacks but I am a believer and so is the group that was with me.
The 12 was screaming and I am very, very proud of that ole scooter.
Thanks again Bear.......You Da Man !!!!!
Dan
