New OD Gears from Robinson Industries With Pics!
New OD Gears from Robinson Industries. Harden and Polished
Bergie was sent the Pics to Up Load
Because I just now got them and still have not resolved the NOS Problem, they will not go in until June! Then I can be a tooth or 2 shorter on the gearing for off spray performance and still have the same top end on SPray!

Not as "Expensive" as you think! Remember I had him make and bought "6" Sets to really get a serious discount, plus it set him up to make more. I saw where people paid $800 but I was closer to 1/2 that price

Mr. Hill got a great deal for them OD gears. Even the Busa guys who ordered
something like 20, paid a couple hundred more and without the polish. Old
Rustman on Busa.Org site was ready to shed a tear after he saw the quality
of the 12 gears. Thank you again for your hard work Mr. Hill. Hope to see ya
running 212+ in the summer or fall.

Look here!
Understand I ordered 6 sets and I picked Gear Ratios Bear Racing used and Robinson Liked. This way he was able to get everything set up to make more for himself to sell while being paid in advance to do it! I think he made 6 more sets or set up to make 6 more. I also ordered in the dead of Winter when Business was very SLow and because of the cost of Back cut we almost stopped the entire deal.
Yes, Our gears look better than everyone elses gears and we got a Hell 0 a deal.
Now to find the appropiate person for the Extra set I got!

Unfortunately one has to register with that board to view pics... I'll do so later.
Maybe, if things are slow in the winter, I can send my gears back and get them backcut and polished for more money... Will be very interested to see yours to see the difference.

Mr. Robinson is shining up my trans also, hope it looks the same.
I just might have to put it on the mantle above the fire place if
it looks anything like that and leave my bike all tore down.

Vince.............I looked into the new low gear set offered bt Robinson for my 10R recently. I was told by two different companies that has both installed several of them that they make a lot of noise. They don't / can't mesh as well as factory and so they make excessive noise. They work BUT! Now 1st gear wouldn't be too bad to deal with since we spend little time there, BUT 6th could drive a man insane if indeed these also make noise. We all spend alot of time in high gear out riding around. Just a little heads up that someone may want to consider.

I understand Gunner exactly what you are talking about and is another reason we polished the gears for smoother Break in and less wear off the stock gears in the process.
Also, in Top gear for the use I plan, I will never hear the gears! It is very noisy at 200+

VH,
remind me why you need OD gears?? 5th & 6th are pretty close ratios which would seem ideal for top end?????
whats the problem with simply running 18/44; that got me to 201 in 2001 with a garden variety 1361.

With Taller 5th & 6th , I can use "Shorter" over all ratio with the same top end. In other words, with the Off Spray gears 1 to 3rd better Acceleration and when I hit the spray the extra Power can pull the taller gears and I can use a higher % of NOS Application

AMEN!! YOU?? Me !! I want to resolve it.
I took a break to work on the ZRX and actually enjoyed playing with the bike and riding it. I am NOT GOING TO MAXTON until I resolve this problem. WHen the temps are in the 70's on a weekend, I can do the NOS FLow testing and find the problem.
Personally I think that it is either the severe Bends in the NOS Lines are causing them to freeze and maybe block the NOS. Or the Style of Nozzle is causing the Syponing of fuel. Once resolved, the Bike WILL Run the number! I am as courious about this as I was about what Women looked like Naked when I was 10 to 12 years Old

Yeah them OD gears will work well to get my 260+ lbs off the line
with a touch lower gearing and let the Nos push 5th and 6th.
Can Not wait to see Entropy at the Texas Mile in October with that
Monster. I am thinking about running 18/43, I do not have as much
nos as Mr. Hill. Anybody have gearing and mph speed?

I "Only" Have a chart for 19 tooth Front
19 / 46 Should be close but I will give 19 / 45 I do not have anything shorter
I think that with the OD Gears you should try 18 / 45 and go taller to 18 / 44 Remember you are trying to take advantage of the taller gears with shorter overall ratio like 45 or 44 to have have the advantage of top end and not using 43 or 42
19/46
209.94 @ 11,500
200.81 @ 11,000
191.68 @ 10,500
19 / 45
214.79 @ 11,500
205.45 @ 11,000
196.11 @ 10,500
