is it worth putting one on for hard street riding,, or is it a waste of time and money?

I would say it depends on your HP... do you have 250+?? and do you do a lot of High Speed hammering on the street??? if so then go for it. if not dont waste your time or money...

It would also depend on whether thinking one might sometime want to be able to pull in the clutch at higher rpm, or is happy with losing that ability.

Yeah, no pulling the clutch at high wheel speed. The one real drawback of a Kaw. With the pull rod design, you cant pull the clutch like some guys are able to do. It is pointless to run one on the street, the real design of the system is to let you run way less static pressure and still run up top too........, not really what a street rider wants, slipping the clutch below normal rpms.........

Don't do it on the street. You may need to yank that clutch in at some point, with the current design, it will snap and no disengage, which could put you in a dangerous situation.

I don't think you can get enough traction on the street to need it, unless you are doing top speed runs.
