Thanks for the offer Zrex, but I think I'll go the other route to keep from pulling the swingarm off. If it weren't for that though, I'd gladly make you a decent offer on your chain.
Thanks again.............

Chris,
I'm gonna go with the rivet type master-link chain. After reading these guy's comments and researching it even further it seems as if they will easily be up to the task.
I'm "fixin" to email you with more info.............

b) 7 second 1/4 mile bikes, 220 mph LSR bikes, and 300-400hp turbo bikes have run clip link type chains with no problems, therefore it's fine for your 165hp streetbike.
c) it's a shitload cheaper to go aftermarket than oem
Bergie is right. The strongest chains on the market, the did drz, and the rk dr are both clip type. I have run both, the rk beiing 500lbs less, at only a little over 10,500lbs......but way lighter......., and most all pro stock bikes run the ek drz.....,

STFU Harry, before I zip my pants and choke you to death!!!
I'm gonna order my chain online, and the meat mauler is letting me bring his chain tool back from Detroit next month. I got a lot of stuff to do to my bike before gap time.
What dates did we decide????
