...I'm going to go out on a limb here...
...I think there IS a fringe of bike riders that illicit that kind of reaction from cagers...and I think this lunatic fringe makes cagers think that we're all alike on a bike...you've seen these types of bikers...hell, you've even experienced them when you were in your cage at whatever speed and these asholes split at crazy high speeds and for some fucked up reason HAVE to cut in front of your bow with little room to spare, causing your loved ones and you incredulous feelings about their antics...even worse when there's a whole bunch of them stunting near your cage at speed and trying to impress who?...FUCK THAT!
...anyway, while I don't advocate opening doors on ANY motorcyclist except maybe that one idiot who pulls up along side you and points a gun at your head , I can honestly say that I understand the mentality of those who might...understand feeling, but don't agree with executing the action....hell, I've even had these types of evil thoughts myself at one time or the other...have you?...let's be honest now...
...I've thought evil thoughts about many things in life...doesn't mean that I'd ever execute it...in my fantasy world where I'm master of my universe, I've done all kinds of things better left in my lala-land...doesn't make a person like me a bad person, now does it?...c'mon, who of you have have ever fantasized about mounting that 50 cal. machine gun on the hood of your car to blast that asshole cager who cut you off outta the way?...what's the difference between opening a car door on a motorcyclist and blasting a car out of your way with uranium-tipped rounds?...they're both very violent actions, yes?...
...HOWEVER...just like a cop in uniform under the public microcope, the dj on the airways has a responsibility to the general public...a duty, if you will...they had better watch what they say on the air or face the wrath that they sow....
