I will always like the 'ol KZ's. I bought 650 for $60 a while back, but it was too far gone to rescue. Well, for me anyway.
Heck, most guys can barely give thier 12's away. It's all Liter bikes now. If you get a chance, take one for a spin. You won't beieve it. You'll lie, cheat, and steal to get one!

You mean take a 12 for a spin if I get a chance or a liter bike?

Well in March this year I got a 1 hour demo ride out of the local dealer on a '05 R1 and I felt like I was in heaven! That is a real sweet ride and I was tempted to just not take it back
But really, the 12 has been my dreambike ever since I saw the first pic of it back in late '99.
If I ever have enough money, the first thing I'm gonna do is buy a 12!
Dealer doesn't have a 12 for demo rides though as he says they've been out so long, people have ridden them somewhere before....

But at any rate, having a 12 part on my kz is like owning a small piece of a dream

...the combination of torque and power delivery from a stock ZX-12R (and I imagine, a Busa) needs to be experienced to be believed...nothing else on two wheels off of the showroom floor can compare...nothing...now imagine how the big-bore kits make these bikes 'behave'....I can only imagine....hell, I'm guessing that most of us (if we were true with our self-assessments) can truely handle the stockers, but what a freekin' rush for that fleeting moment when we're being naughty and pin that throttle hand in a straight line

...i hope you do indeed get to experience it for yourself, stock or modified....

That could have been clearer... I meant the 12R.
