heh...dude...my Turbo bike has a "stock motor" then...as well as every other nitrous bike around.

Get off the "stock motor" kick...noone here buys that crap...we all know better (or the ones that care about going 124 in the 8th do anyway).

Why not say "Hey..my bike went from a previous best of 118 to 124 in the 8th with the only change being brocks pipe.

6.04 et

upped the mph by 3mph, hows that.

Everyone who knows this bike knows it has stock internals.

http://www.catalystracingcomposites.com/catalyst_racing_composites_013.htm

Only change in the bike from the photo, is it had a MCR2 when that mph and ET was run.

I have a very soft clutch set up, with only low 1.5s in 60 ft.

Back in Pro Et trim it ran 5.72 at 121 best 1/8 mile with a 1.31 short time with that arm , slick and bars, without his pipe.

Entropy has tested this exact pipe, and it makes HP.

Why all the hate?

My stock motor 12R made 250hp before the turbo with a regular muzzy pipe...so whats the point of using brocks setup?

(see how stupid this sounds?)

so what mph does your turbo run in the 1/8?

What is with the freakin hostility?

I don't hustle, dont hide what is in my bike, and those who I race against know what is in it and what has been done to it.

Chill out man.

Im not being hostile....my point was....if everyone "knows whats in it" as you claim...why did you have to mention it was a stock motor?

Why not just say 124mph with a brock sidewinder?

Cause everyone does not know what I have done, and we will all agree, 123 and 124 are pretty high mph............, especially since I have no PC yet, I cant wait to see what it runs with the pc.

Curious......, how is your turbo running.., what kind is on it. I am wanting one bad, but I really would like to build a big bore.........

My point yet again...first you said everyone knew what you had done...so why post any mods....now "not everyone knows what you have done"...so why not list all your mods instead of just saying "stock motor with a pipe".

Sorry...didnt mean to come off rude...its just silly to read someone say that when you know there is more going on with the bike that just a pipe

Hope the turbo will be running better when it gets back to the dyno after some larger injectors...we will see. Been a long project :/

I don't do this, and maybe this is the first time....... But, YCIS has my support on this one.

NOX, seriously, unless you have a KCADBY built stock motor, (with the special stock cam settings) your MPH is TOO HIGH to be a "stock" motor..... UNLESS you have the rumored KCADBY airfilter mod, which makes the snorkel pull and push air like a turbo!!!

I have run 121 in 100 degree heat at the Memphis NOPI event as well. I am sending the slips to Brock, he wants to post them on his site.

Oh, and this may be a real dumb question, but what is KCADBY stand for?

thanks

Kcadby is RA's imagined arch enemy. Kevin (Kcadby) went 9.03 @ 151 on a ZX12 (123 in the 1/8) on a cold November night 4 years ago, running Nutec, pipe, PC & +6 arm, and RA's been squealing about it ever since.

Sounds like you're riding the hell out your bike, nice job. What wheelbase?

Looks like KCADBY is a member of several forums and does a little racing.
Heath, maybe you should tell them that you're as skinny as me.

ha ha, you wont be skinny long if you keep eating at the buffet in benton!!!!!

You should come up to the races at Centerville this fall , we have a couple of points races left. Streetbikes bracket racing mid 7s and low 8s in 1000ft.

Fropappy has had the pleasure of watching me try to eat the 60 foot marker , and then the 330 marker a few times on a slick as snot track with a Pro ET slick and bar zx12.........ha ha.

Yeah, but that is way out in left field. Not really apples to apples. If I claimed 130 in the 1/8 or 155 or 160 in the 1/4, then I could see it.

Either way, the Brock sidewinder is the stuff..........

what kinda HP does it take to push a Zx12 to a 123 MPH in a 1/8th? I am not a drag racer, but use to go with my buddies on occasion. they talked me into taking my 12 down the track a few times.....that bike was bone stock, filter to pipe, and without lowering or strapping and 36lbs of air, ran 117 MPH @6.8......the bike made 157HP at the time.......when it was done it pushed 181, but I never ran it, just wondering what kind of MPH and ET it should have run.....

No more out in left field than someone running 124 on a stock motor with nothing but a pipe.
