New 12 on the AMI Dyno in Daytona Tuesday
I was walking along the line looking at all the bikes getting ready for the AMI horsepower shootout and there was a red 2002 in line with all the factory stickers on it. I asked the guy with it how many miles it had on it, he turn on the key (which had the key number tag on it) and it had 50 miles on it. He said he'd had it to red line several because he broke 'em in the way you ride them. He said that that if it blew up and scored the cylinder walls Kawasaki would warranty it and have to bore it out and it would be better than new. Let's just say it wasn't the dumbest thing I saw or heard yesterday but it was close. Thought you might appreciate that story.

My 00 probably didn't even have 50 miles on it before it hit the rev limiter on our dyno for the first time.
