Frame sliders
Hey guys , do any of you remember where those sliders are on here that were in Germany or somewhere like that. I guess once I find the thread I will ask other questions on how to get them. Thanks for any help

Sure, glad to answer any questions. I don't have a camera so no pics myself as yet, though there are Internet pics available.
I got them from Wild Hair Accessories. Took about a month to arrive.
I didn't weigh them. Irfan at WHA said, in reference to shipping, that they weighed about 3 lb but my impression on receiving them was about 2 lb.
The manufacturer is GSG-Moto.
They don't get in the way while riding as a 99% rule. The exception is that one could want to put a foot down in a way that would have the leg hitting or being obstructed by the sliders. If you want to put your foot down anywhere even with or back of the gear shift lever (about) there is no issue. If you want to put your foot down forward of that, but angle out some so your foot is touching down, I dunno, a foot and a half outside of the bike, again no problem. However if you want to put a foot down Rossi-style at speed (forward and inside) it would be in the way. I haven't run into that, as I flat-track it only by mistake and haven't done so since putting them on, however my foot ordinarily goes wide enough that I think there would be no issue.
I had pretty minor installation difficulty. To get the crossbar to go through the upper engine mount I had to sand the threads down just a trace (or at least I thought I had to) and also used a close-fitting wooden dowel to assist the process, sliding it through from the other direction. Who knows that might be just my bike or my particular kit. I did get it on with no big hassle, just saying it didn't slip right on instantly.

BTW Crash those (the nosepiece, side panels, maybe front fender, and belly pan) are some of the pieces I'd be sending you, just simple Kawasaki Spark Black but hopefully a harder topcoat.

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats them!Thanks man. Were they hard to deal with? Did you talk to them on the phone or did you just order online with credit card? No problem! I have not forgotten about you I am just running about 5-6 weeks behind on large jobs so I contracted about 4 weeks ago to have a new building constructed. It should be finished in about 4-6 weeks. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be able to increase capacity a bunch then.

Man you guys need to scrool down the left column of the GSG site to the green letters that read ZX12R and check that blue streetfighter out. I hate to say it but that has to be the best looking one I have seen aside from the cluttered paint. The fairing accually looks proportioned to the bike. That freakin swingarm looks like a machining nightmare, but beautiful. Hey Rog........

Wild Hair was extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. I'm not sure if I placed the order via the website or by e-mail, as I think I had a question at the same time. Paying was easy, just by credit card. I do remember Irfan calling me up to personally verify everything was right and to make sure I understood the delivery time, and have since placed a second small order with them also with excellent e-mail communications. They seem a very good company to work with and very easy to work with.
No problem regarding my pieces... the race upper cowl, the streetfighter pieces, and the swingarm haven't even come in yet so no worries! Thanks!

Not that swingarm, too pricey for me. No, it's a JMC with upper brace that's being made 32 mm shorter than stock, but with stock wheelbase within its adjustment range.
Hopefully that is not going to be a disappointment: a ZX-12R owner in Germany on the ZRXOA board told me he had a JMC with the upper brace and, though he didn't weigh it or compare it to stock, he thought it was a heavy piece. Half my purpose was to save weight, so if it isn't considerably lighter than stock that will be disappointing. Ordered the thing in May but still hasn't arrived. They did claim on Sep 5 that it would be completed "in the next week or so."

hey Brett, show the pics to Roger adn tell him to make a set, looks liek it woudnt be to tough for him....then he can make the sliders aluminum like he did for the R6.....those woudl look killer on your 12....

There would not be much to making a set.
Basically it's a pair of plates that are joined by through-rods through the engine mounts, and then with sliders mounting to the plates.
However, unless already set up to do it, I'd consider the trouble saved in purchasing them already made to be worth the cost, even if wanting the aluminum sliders, as the sliders certainly can be swapped out. But, relative priorities of time/trouble-in-finding-stuff vs cost will certainly vary.

Oh I am already there. I am calling him tonight. Those he made were beautiful. Those brackets dont look to bad but like trenace said is it worth the time and trouble to have Rog come up with the brackets. If I get the sliders like they come I know he could turn me some alum. ones that would fit onto the brackets. I will plant the seed and let him see what he thinks. If he has a better idea or location he could make them and sell them no problem.
