I think there is enough Busa websites to NOT neccesitate one here. Besides, you created this site in response to not having our own home at LaBusas.

in the beginning, this site was created to allow a place for 12R owners to talk.. since then it has grown to encompass all brands and styles of motorcycles.

If the membership asks for a forum dedicated to a specific model or brand, we will create it.

Haha....I'm just saying Fish.

Honestly, I really don't care what forum I'm in, I just love chatting with everyone.

Hell consolidate to just "Bike talk" "News" "Smackhouse" for all I care......

They all mean the same to me. That's shooting the shit with great people and helping
eachother out with their bike once in awhile.

I wish there was just ONE forum for Ninjas... I get tires of skipping all around to check
each one... makes no sense.

Merge them all... guys that ride 600s, 1000s, 1200s would all learn from each other and
get to know each other... that way, when you hold a rally at the Gap or whatever the whole
group might show... no reason to exclude others by having separate forums.

If I see something about a 600 I might be able to help, or simply pass on the thread...
as it is now, I don't even go in there... so if someone asks a question I might be able to
help with, I don't even see it...

I agree... it's not that big a timesaver when searching for stuff to not have say ZX-10R posts on the page when you have a ZX-12R, or vice-versa... and on top of that there is so much shared tech that the smart thing to do even if you're trying to learn about a given thing on one Ninja is to check posts on the other... e.g. the ZX-10R guys may well have posted a brake tip that is going to apply to your bike.

I'd personally prefer having all the ZX posts in one forum but I guess that is a minority opinion.

I do know that the splitting-it-up both results the extra trouble of having to go to multiple forums instead of just one, and also in dead or near-dead forums for the less-represented bikes, so much so that typically on many boards for someone with such a bike to get any answers he has to go post on the "wrong" forum!

Or even here, if you want to find everything Bikeland has so far on the ZX-14, you have to cross-check with the ZX-12R board too as some of it is only there.

The admins here have a partial solution in that they are very diligent in crossposting things wherever they think there may be cross-interest. It still doesn't wind up being a complete solution, and introduces it's own problems... e.g, you see the red folder thing on the "Sportbikes" forum and you think, OK, new post there, go check that forum out... and guess what, it is the SAME post you just read having opened it in a different forum. And then it happens to you AGAIN when you go check the Dual Sport forum... nothing really new there, just the same post crossposted to nine different forums.

Seems way simpler to only have a ZX forum and a just general shooting the shit about anything at all forum... but that's probably a minority opinion.

I doubt that Suzuki would do cosmetic changes to the Busa, part of the appeal is that when the thing tips off of the world-class worst sidestand ever, the wrecking yards are full of Busa parts.

I'd pass up a new stock Busa unless it had 200+ HP and weighed less than 500lb wet like mine does now. Even then, the resale value of my project would drop like a stone, so affording a new one would be unlikely. I hope Suz waits until 2009 for a complete Busa redesign, then I can pay them instead of alimony to the ex-wife.

Only crashers and suckers buy new Busas now, clean used ones abound so someone else can take the depreciation hit, and they are among the most reliable bikes out there if left stock, all anybody buys for a few grand more is a warrantee. I cringe at the thought of a dealer touching my bike after I buy it, even though I don't have any nightmare stories about dealers.

LIAR! I've seen your Trail 50 and it is not turbocharged.... it's supercharged! Note spy photo...

DON'T RUN HDL!

He got every trick part you can get from Takegawa and Kitaco. HDL is talkin' smack about yankin' out the "50 motor" (with a 12K RPM 12.5:1 Kitaco 85cc Ultra big bore head) and droppin' in a Lifan 120cc built monster motor. After HDL is finishes tweakin' the Lifan, that baby could be puttin over 12 HORSEPOWER AT THE REAR WHEEL!

With the Brembo front disk, Kitaco 2" over swingarm and Takegawa twin exhaust system, he put you down like a wounded dog.
