Limited Edition ZX12R 2002!
Was at my dealer today and he mentioned a limited edition 12. I said "huh". He said it was the blue one and it's gonna be offered in the states. He didn't mention that it had anything special on it. sounded kind of strange that they would just offer the blue one and call it LE?
Anyone know anything?

from what I have heard, it is not LE, the color is now being offered here in the US, they made that decision recently.

Hey Mike, you still in Des Moines? Sorry we never hooked up last year. Got a busa and a Valkyrie Interstate now. I do miss the 12 a bit. Need seven bikes for seven days, know what I mean?
When are the blue ones gonna be in?

Blue, blue my bike is blue.
I heard kind of the same thing. Not the limited edition deal, but that the blue color was coming. He said that the blue ZX-9R's (2000 or 2001) sold out VERY quickly.

I was going to buy black one especially since that was the color I had my 2000 12r painted before a piece of shit stole it.I had to pay 300.00 more for blue.11,300.00 from insurance company on payoff.Blue 2002 12r 11,221.44 out the door.I had over 22 grand into stolen bike!

I have seen the dark blue and gold bike, and the red bike, but not a black . Who has actually seen a factory painted black ZX12R? dealers around here (3) say they don't show a black color for the 12R.

But in the showroom it looked....
The dark blue is the black bike. It is a black with blue metatllic. Typical Kaw "presto-chango" color. Kawasaki comes up with some really neat colors, but their taste in what goes where (wheel color comes to mind) I find questionable.

Jet, yea Im still in DSM.. probably will be for a while! let me know if you ever get here in town!!
and Ozzy, we are talking about the Royal Blue Model, the Black, is actually black with a blue metal flake in the paint so close up or in the sun it looks blueish,

Sorry,if I created any confusion about about calling blue/gold bike black.Alot of people refer to it as black.I had my original 12 painted black w/blue flake .
