Hey Connman and Nick

Hey doods, Im gonna do an Iron Butt ride around the lake. You in? Im thinking oct. 15th, leave Sat morning and do most of the ride on sat. 700 miles or so. then crash for the night, and finish up in the morn on Sun. Lemme know if you wanna go. Im kinda plotting a course now. Trying to stay on some of the 70mph roads. I figure some of them U.P. roads we can get some miles done fast, out in the middle of BFE. Lemme know dewds, should be a fun ride.

Damn Girth, that'd be an awesome ride!
If I'm still around these parts in a month I'd love to go with you, but I'm interviewing for jobs in Colorado right now. Flying out tomorrow afternoon as a matter of fact.
Keep me up to date, cuz if I'm still here, I'm in! I never thought 1000 mi. in 24 hrs would be too much of a problem. When we went to DG this year, it was a 500 mi non-stop trip and I felt great when we got there. Just about the time you start getting tight, it's time to stop for gas anyway!

What you meaning? I'd probably need to fill up more often than you. Hell my fuel light (since that's all I have) normally comes on at 90-100miles.

But I doubt it I'd be able to join ya Ryan. Damn I want to though, I'll keep ya informed.

I still wish you just got yo ass down to Lafayette when I was in INDY visiting Connman Laborday weekend of 2004! We was trying to get you to! Should've man.....should've!

Shit, thought the range on the 6 was a lot more.., I get about 130ish out of a tank, I could go farther. But one time in the Smokeys, we got lost, and I was on fumes. I was already planning to rip my camel pack water bag hose off and pull a bit of gas off my buds...LOL, but we found a gas station as my bike was sputtering. My buddy with the TL1000R gets less range than I so he is kinda the limiting bike. My VFR buddy just called and says he's in,

I'll keep you guys up to date,

Yeah, I use to get alot during break-in 9300miles ago. 140max running on fumes.

But I WOT on take off 90% of my take offs....haha...im a JUNKIE for G's/torque, so normally after light comes on around 90 I'm almost bone dry around 120.

12r has a bigger fuel tank also Ryan, so technically you would have to fill up more.

But I never care, I love having a full tank, never know when I'll need it.
