Hmmmmm!?!?!?
Well I sent you one!!!
Basically what I said was it appears you did not reinstall that storage box that serves as the trunk; consequently you now have access of the space beneath and behind the passenger seat latch bracket. Are you concerned with items up against the tail/brake light connectors or any of the wiring harness on the sides??? What's the LED upgrade and why did you have to do it??? You did a nice job with the installation, very professional. Thanks for the info, I think I'll be ordering one when I get back from Datona Beach, provided I have some loot left!?!?
Peace

Thanks for the props.....
No I'm not really concerned with anything coming into contact with the harness. Though for piece of mind I have thought about making a custom cover to protect the wires coming out of the ECU, if I do this I'll let you know. I took my "trunk" out a long time ago and have had no problems as far as wiring mishaps. As long as the wire is somewhat secure and can't move around a lot, and you're not throwing anything back there with sharp edges that could cut the insulation you'll be alright.
I had to do the LED upgrade because my undertail came with standard bulbs, all of them come with LEDs now. The LEDs look much cooler, and are 10 times brighter.

It's always nice to help a brother out. I know that the pictures take a lot of the "unknowns" out of it for you. Hell I guess I need to post some of the pics when I get time. Seems like Dussault is selling a lot of undertails since I got mine and posted pics on here.
I need a kickback.

Send me a figure and if'n it ain't too rich or me too po" I'll glady contribute some renumeration.

Mine is on !!. I started last night and finished it this morning. It's Bike Week here and not computer week so I may be a little slow with the responses. Thanks for the info. I tried a few things out and ended up putting the computer back in the original place, putting the PCIII behind it and trimming the top off the box and putting it back in. I put some spacers under the trunk to lift it off the computer a little but it's in there good an not going anywhere.
Right now my tag is mounted really low, I have brackets between the small lower screws near the shock and they fit to the bottom of the tag. Visibility is questionable but that's the way it will be for a while. The bracket I got for the tag doesn't even come close to fitting a Florida tag. I assumed they are all the same, but the bracket I got is way too small to line up. Other than that little tag mounting issue I like it a lot. I'll get some pictures when I get a chance.

Dave......
I forgot to mention that bracket on mine is a one off piece that I made. I polished it as well, looks way better than what comes with the kit. I did it mainly because I didn't want to drill out every new plate I got, and it kinda looked shitty. I also ditched the little hex head bolts and put button heads in their place. I followed Robert's design on the bracket, but made it to fit standard size motorcycle plates. I shoulda made a few of them when I was at it because to get the same bend as Robert's bracket I had to change the dies and everything out in the press. That was the only hard part. The rest was easy. Didn't have any aluminum at the shop, so mine is stainless as is the one that comes with the undertail.

Damn, I'm fucking falling behind. I just saw this. Well if there is enough interest to justify setting up the press again to make the bend, which is the only hard part labor wise, I'll consider making some. As far as a price, I'd try to make it as cheap as I could. But I'd have to have a few people wanting them before I'd do it. Like I said in my post to Dave, I should've made a few when I had the press set up, and was "In the Groove". Especially when I had the piece cut out before I made the bend. I could have used it as a template and traced out 10 or so in a matter of minutes. Why didn't I do that????????????? Hell Dussault may want a hook up on these!!!! I know he has the cheese.
I will say that my polishing is not the best in the word as far as it being totally uniform. But up under the bike you can't tell it, it looks like chrome. Shinny as hell. It's polished everywhere except for the area the plate covers,I even did the backside.
