K$N Filters???

Are a set of K$N filters worth getting for the 12. What does it do for the bike? Hp, better throttle response ect?
How much is a set?

I don't have a HP dyno figure, but immediately after my K&N filter install, the bike picked up some acceleration. Wild guess 2-3hp? I donno, but you could feel the difference in the seat of your pants, & my bike started throttle wheelies in top of 2nd gear. Didn't do that before!

15-20 minute job. Do it...contact Wilson Weir, he's got them in stock & the best deal I found...

Yes, do it. Better filter and better flow.

And Wilson is the man to get them from.

I say...get them even if they didn't increase power (and they do) because...they stop the dirt (SAND!!!) that gets AROUND the stock filters...
I recently took a ZX12 appart for a 1361 kit and was SHOCKED at how much SAND was in the air box on the 'motor side' of the filters !!!

One thing to check, if the filters are tight (no I mean TIGHT) then you may want to shave a touch off the rubber strip on the front side of the filter. That will allow them to slide fully down into the airbox without binding up and bowing.
