Starter "Circuit" Relay??

WHere is it?

I Know where the Starter Motor Relay is, the Fuel Pump Relay, ECU Realy Head Lights Realy (Left & Right) But where is the "Circuit Relay"??

Someone with an 00 bike does not turn over. Looked at all of the Above things I could find and the Side Stand, Nuetral and Clutch lever. Will the Clutch lever lock out cause the Bike not to turn over in "Neutral"? Side Stand up in Neutral and clutch lever in not turn over? Also checked the Vehicle Down sensor.

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you press the starter button?

Are You sure there battery has enough juice? Sometimes it's worth to check the big things first - but You probably know this. Don't press the clutch in when starting because it won't crank if the clutch lever switch is out.

And one thing to check is (besides that fuel pump pumping) does the FI light light up when putting the key on?

No one knows where the Starter "Circuit" Relay is?

The Battery in this bike has 12.65 Volts. Both Lights come on and then the FI Light goes out.
No the Fuel Pump is not working until you jump the Relay. (Dont Press in the Clutch when starting because it won't crank if the CLutch Lever is out"?) I really do not understand that statement at all. He has tried with the Lever in and out ("Press" How do you do that?)

Also sidestand up and down in Neutral and in Gear . The "Starter Relay" was tested and it shows an open circuit with no power and closed circuit with Power (Flows current).

My feeling is the Starter Circuit Relay or the Starter Button or the Kill Switch and last, the Dang Fangled ECU.

Randall Called Kawasaki and they told him that they were in front of the insturment panel (You know the left & Right Headlight Relay

Anyway, he took the Starter / Kill Switch apart and cleaned it then cleaned the connectors between the switch and the harness the Bike started!

Still do not know where the Relay is!

Could be wrong. But isn't the starter relay right next to the battery in the battery compartment?? If not, what is that next to the battery on the clutch side of the battery holder?

Later the Bike Stalled again. He had to start at the Switch and Strip the wires until he got to the place where the Loop is that Holds the WIres in Place on the Frame. I found several Broken wires and stripped Wires right there. He added a 2 inch section of 18 mm wire and cleaned everything up and now everything is 100%

Vince, the starter circuit relay is combined with the headlight relay and is in the junction box under the tank skin.

See page 15-60 of the A1 service manual for the testing procedure. There are separate procedures to test either side of the relay.
