Paving the Dragon?
I was reading on a couple of boards that work has already started clearing trees and preping for a resurfacing of the Gap scheduled to start in the next few months. They say the job will take a few months to complete. Does lucky or anyone else know anything about this and how will it impact the May trip?

I just checked the Tail of the Dragon website and it looks like it is true. Could mean the Gap may be out for the May trip. That OK cause there is always other roads in the area.

Tail of the Dragon says the paving will start April 1st and last a few weeks. We'll try and find out more in the next little bit.
