slip on or a full system

New to the ZX12 thing and am stuck between a slip on or a full system. Which gives more power and if it is the full system is it worth the extra money to get 1-2 hp more?

Thanks

Full system for sure. I put the Yosh on without the PC and went to 171 hp. A lot more than 1-2 hp.

I've been there..........

I've had both, a Muzzy Ti Bolt-On, and now a Yoshimura Rs-3 Duplex.

The bolt-on with the cat removed would really surprise a lot of people. My bike was stout with that set up.(had the other standard mods as well, advancer,K&Ns,Heat Blanket,17/47 gearing)BUT the full system shows it's hand in the upper revs BIGTIME. I found this out yesterday at the street races. I had no intentions of racing because I'm a big heavy bastard that likes to "Sportride", twisties, wheelies etc., but I did run a few times. The bitch just would not stay down!!!!!Short shifting didn't help either. Some people would be pissed about this. Not me , I love to wheelie, and the bike does it better now than it ever did.

Another point to factor in is the weight save the full system will give you. I can really tell the bike was lightened up when I go to flick it over into a turn. It's all in what you want, and what you want to spend. I was perfectly happy with the bolt-on, but I'm even happier with the full system. The full system isn't the cheapest route to go, being that a PC is necessary to get the full potential and best drivability possible, but it is the best route for all out performance. I hope this helps you.

FULL SYSTEM!! With Muzzy Stainless/aluminum systems going for $450 new and even less used (as well as other brand pipes), why bother with a slip on??
Plus even the heaviest aftermarket pipes are still 12lbs lighter than stock!!
