Lost thread on TB mod

I'm flippin out!!

I swear I saw a post here just within the past 3 weeks that had a link to zx-12r.org concerning some mod to our throttle body. I think it was to help cure the 2000 - 3000rpm hesitation.

Now, I can't find it here and i"ve been looking for over 30 minutes. The other site is just GONE now, vanished, can't even ping it. When did that happen?

WTH?!? I need help. Anyone remember that thread?

There's a thread on it.

Hopefully the other site is coming back... I would think the chances are at least 50% of it (just as a personal guess.) If it's a technical glitch causing it, it will be fixed. It has happened before though usually not this long.

I'm sorry, I don't know what information you're talking about with the TB though. Hopefully someone else will.

Are you thinking about the pilot jet mod to cure the muzzy 2k-3k stumble?

Ninja12 - YES, that is the key phrase I was needing. I can now try a new search!

Kzz1 - from the few things I read about it, it seemed to be a better fix than the numbers Cliff put out a long time ago for that 2000-3000rpm hesitation.

If I'm wrong, someone will chime in here and let us know..

Thanks for checking Fishy!
Found it using the "Pilot Jet" as my search. Double thanks for Ninja12. I had been searching on "throttle body" and the like.

This will now help me get to the right thread at the 'other' place.

pilot jet mod?

Anyone one here try this? Seen on Easy's site:

http://www.zx-12r.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23174

I'm wondering if the difference between the Canadian models & the US models, vs. the California models would be of concern? (me in the Republik of Kalifornia)
