Not "IF", they are and this is the first one. Low Price also, Under $500 for both pieces. which is about the list price for a Kawasaki Top piece alone (Of course the "Kawasaki" part is painted )

I work at a rate that even Bores me Cut, Fit, Cut & Fit and more Cut and fit then Form Aluminum and spray adhesive then use wax Paper then form Fiberglass, remove from the mold then fit and add more glass then glass new part in place then clean up again. It took a week to make my seat pan and I have to make a new cut out for the seat to clear the exhaust and then blens in the new Belly Pan. I have to concentrate because I have so little Mind to rely on in my old age Thanks for the Offer and when I get everything finished and am in to the tuning part and have cleaned up everything from the Huge mess I usually make, I will order more bug spray and get in touch with you, OK?

Vince how well do the two halfs fit together at the seam? Is the mold nice and clean and the part smooth or will it take a lot of blocking to get strait? I'm thinking about ordering these and switching to an HID headlight. The weight savings should make the switch worth the cost I would think.

From my initial checking, very well, but the Headlight is not worth the weight & Cost difference. Close to $500 for the JUST the pieces, then paint and time! That would be about $200 per pound. Only worth it If you break yours. I even had him make mine heavier than Standard, the stock plastic stuff is not that heavy but it is also not that strong either.

How did the 04 upper make this happen?
Do you need to mod the bottom to get your clearance
gained with the pan and sidewinder.

Good questions!
The reason he needed the newer fairing was he had a 1 piece mold for the 02 to 05 fairings Upper. SInce the fairing upper was now long gone, he needed to know "EXACTLY" where to cut the mold with the 04 fairing so he could "Just" build the 00 / 01 upper and mate the 2 molds together.
Even Better question (You have been thinking)
If I do nothing to the lower, I will gain nothing in clearance is exactly correct. Looking at how everything is made, my plan is to first fit everything and then carefully cut out the Bottom of the Belly pan. Then chop the sides up to the height I want and then place the remaining belly pan bottom between these sides and "Glass" in the bottom. SInce my work will not be as nice as his, being on the bottom will show "LESS" of my work and more of his work.
My plan calls for a large flat plate (1/2 inch Plywood I already have) covered with Wax Paper held in place with spary adhesive and then sprayed with Primer to be "MY" Gel coat. Carefully place the Cut down belly pan on this board and strap it in place and then place the Bottom of the pan in the middle and (Somehow) hold it in place. Then using 1 sheet of "Woven Mat" Glass with 1 sheet of fiber glass Mat and then a woven mat, fiberglass the Pan bottom in place up about 2 inches up the sides of the fairing. Using a plastic squeegee blend everything in.
I also have to reshape the Seat on the Muffler side and clean up the Bottom of the Bike past the Belly Pan ofwhere the seat is also.
With everything I have to do I may not get finished until October.
2 cars through inspection with Randall driving one and it (the car 1982 BMW 320I I paid $100 for 6 years ago)) not having a good time around him
Mount the Fairing and do this work,
Mount the Seat "Again" and do the new Glass work
Get the Bung welded into the Collector
Mount the Data Aquisition equipment and get it all working.
Paint the Fairing and part of the Seat.
Clean the Used wheel and paint it then replace the Bearings and mount the Brake Rotors.
Then Replace the Front and rear tire and have them balanced and then Ride the bike for a few hundred miles to break in the new tires.
Retune the bike to "Run" Correctly on Spray and make the Power it can make all of the time, Not just for a second or two.
Remember I also work every day and have other things I need to do and when It is hot like it is now, I do not feel like doing anything.
Then remember in a few months, I will be 62 and to know exactly how I feel, just convert the Temp to my Age (96 outside I feel 96) 50 outside, I feel real good for doing work.
Add to all of this that I do not have "Money" to really do everything the way I want to and between paying Bills or the Bike, it is the Bills and what ever I do to the Bike MUST Be done First Class or Not at ALL!
If I was Young like Entropy or even Dan (oldkawboy) who has retired, I would be almost finished by Now

Hey Vince (or anybody that knows) can you confirm that the Catalyst A1 lower(s) are a one piece assembly?
Specifically with the Kawasaki parts you have a right lower, left lower, right inner cowl and left inner cowl.
Am I correct in that all four of these are now one piece?
Thanks!

Sort of! The Upper has part of the sides along with the Inner and the Lower has the Belly Pan and part of the sides along with some of the Inner sides. So actually it is lore like 2 pieces do what Kawasaki used 5 pieces to do. The Seam is right along the top of the CLutch Cover

Actually, take a look at their website. They now offer a narrowed fender for the 12 - not sure if that is what you mean.
I ordered a full set of panels today. Upper, lower, street tail, tank skin, fender and dzus fasteners to button it all up.
$1005 delivered to my door. Not too bad....
