This is what I want!
Chatterbox Bluetooth Wireless Communicator

Chatterbox's bike-to-bike communicator with wireless Bluetooth technology between the main and helmet units for a wireless full-stereo helmet audio system. The base unit provides 24 FRS/GMRS channels with up to a 5 mile range and is both vox (voice activated) and ptt (push to talk) capable. There's a 3.5mm audio input jack for a cell phone, another for a radar detector and a third for a (pick one..) CB/MP3/CDplayer/Satellite receiver. The intercom system is full duplex, there's a large illuminated LCD display on the base, and the headset has a high capacity rechargeable Li-ion battery. This is state of the art. (Available Fall '05.)
Cat.# Description Price
Full Headset $497.00
Open/Hinged $497.00
2 Full Headset $944.00
2 Open/hinged $944.00

very nice indeed. not cheap, which i expected considering how much more there is than their last incarnation. will be very nice being able to plug radar and phone into the unit without having wires hanginnng from ur helmet now too, plus the helmet unit looks a chunk smaller (wish it were smaller still). wonder if the VOX will finally work well enough that i can dump the PTT button?

Is it asking too much that this become an installed at the factory unit similiar to XM radio on today's vehicles?
