Paging Red Elk.....

How far do you live from Memphis, TN? A buddy an I are going on a ride next month to....well, we don't know where.... just 5 days with no particular place to be.....but I figure we will probably be going thru Memphis. If you aren't insanely far away, then Arkansas could be a good place to stop for the night. Would be cool to get together for a bite.

I'm guessing 137 miles. (Mapquest assisted guess)

And yes, the Red one is traveling back from Laguna right now.

Yeah Steve, I didn't get back until the 13th and was kinda zoned out due to the long drive back. We stopped by the Hoover Dam and did a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon on the way back. Once I get halfway settled in, I've been trying to get the team's endurance bike ready for a 6 hour race at TWS next week.

When ya'll planning on being in this area?

Since I wrote that, the plans have changed slightly. Instead of heading southwest to begin the trip, it now appears that we will be heading northwest to Indy for the US Nationals and continuing from there. That doesn't mean we won't head south towards you, but it's a lot less sure now.
The whole point of the trip is to not have any schedule or agenda. Just go wherever sounds good and stop whenever we feel like it.

The trip is set for Sept, 3-7.
