of course he was riding an R1..... (voted the squidiest bike on the market....apparently...)
Perhaps he should have taken the bike out of 4th gear...... or is that just how fast they go???

about 20 mph faster and that chopper would have had no chance ... Dangerous but intersting. That guys has brass balls - and no brains.

Uh ..... the bike was stolen ....... and that's why I wasn't home when the police came by to look for me 'cause I was out looking for the real thief ........ yeah that must be where I was ........

I've tried for about 40 minutes to find a 'copy' of that chase but I've not been able to find it.
Found plenty of sites with the story, and some still shots, and streaming sites, but not a copy that can be saved to the hard-drive.
Damn.

just use a windows media player ripper hack and it will rip the stream out and let u save it.

there is a second video that the link got taken down, but its a follow up news clip of what happened...
turns out the rider went into the nearby mall and shed his gear and jacket. he called the motorcycle in stolen, but at the same time made a purchase with his debit card in the mall for a hat. the police got a copy of the camera video and it shows him buying the hat (while the moto was outside parked with the cops surrounding it) and him calling on his cell phone reporting it stolen...
so yeah, he got caught.

He just helps gives the rest of us a bad name and a hard time, its hard to get out and not get harrassed any more by the police. But it is cool to watch.
