gearbox/tranny on my 01 zx12r

Bike only has 8,200 miles on it.I've only had the bike a few weeks but the gearbox is really starting to get on my nerves. When i change up the gears it is either clunky as hell,or,when i move the lever up it goes into the next gear with no sensation of a gear change through my foot at all,it just silently changes up the gear with no click, slotting feel?Sometimes im not even sure im not in the next gear,i just have to accelerate to find out :-).Down the gears is ok,usually.Has anyone any ideas why this is?Or what i can do to remedy it

Sounds like the way you are clutching while you shift. There is NO regular problem with these transmissions.

Are you having any issues with the bike "jumping out of gear?" If not then I would say that your shifting style has not yet adapted to your new bike.
