Anyone have steering lock problems with their ZX12R?
I've had my ZX12R for about three weeks now,it has only done 8,200 miles.The steering lock is a pain in the ass!Anyone else have problems with it?It's taken me so long sometimes to get the steering lock to unlock i've seriously thought about getting a pickup truck to take me home,it's really bloody annoying!It just feels so vague,pushing the key down and shaking the steering from side to side has no effect whatsover,it should just break free at this point but it just seems to come free whenever it feels like it.

try some powder lock graphite,
Just had the same problem with my security door at home.

mine works great, after 35k+ miles. sometimes ya have to push/pull the steering just a tad to let the lock slip out and allow it to be unlocked.
i have had more problems getting dino's seat to unlock/unhinge...sigh.
