You can't tell much about a bike from sitting on it while it's parked on carpeted grass. The test ride 12's were still 2001's. I tried to get photo's of the differences you can see. It's the differences you can't see that will probably make it better.
The schedule I have says the Chicago International Motorcycle Show is February 8-10. You'll probably have yours before then.
