PCIII Question

I've picked up a used PCIII for my '00 ZX-12R and noted it has no earth lead (just the FI and power) as is shown in the installation instructions from the PC website. Does anyone have a PCIII on a 2000 model who can tell me if it's meant to have the earth? The unit works when installed which leads me to believe it doesn't have an earth lead, but there is always the chance it was cut when removed from the last bike.

I believe the PCIII didn't have the ground wire and I know the PCIIIR does have one.

Thanks guys - I contacted Dynojet and the early PC3's didn't have an earth so all is well.
