Attn SWFT & Doug M. ...thought I'd start a new thread re: mapping techniques and opinions regarding mapping a internally stock engine w/ full Muzzy,PC3R,K&N,Muzzy block-offs...SWFT, looks like it'd take me three days to rocket up there to Bremerton(?), one day to get mapped, and three days to rocket back to San Diego...I'll know in two weeks if I can swing the road trip...hopefully , you'll have a hole in your schedule to coincide with my time-frame...hey maybe DINO can make the 'short trip' with me as I pass that way?...DINO?...as much as I'd very much prefer SOMEONE who knows what they're doing when tuning a 12R and someone I 'know'...it'd be more practical to find someone closer to San Diego...but, hey, a productive road trip could be fun, too...it'd be like a Laguna 'pre-run'... ____________

Yah, it's a pisser that I'm going to be gone for Laguna...
If you can find someone down there in SD, that'd be a *tremendous* saving in time for ya. Not to mention gas, risk of tickets (fucking oregon cops are nazis) etc...
If Necro wasn't a slug, I could mount up all the above mentioned items on his stock 12, and have a map for ya. ____________

...now that would be way too cool if you guys could do that, I think it'd be way better than what I have now (DJ's basic Muzzy map 002(?) w/o timing...it'd be close enough for my purposes I suppose...but ultimately a map for my particular bike would work best, huh?...I wouldn't mind the cost and time of the road trip at all if I had the time to do it...and I wouldn't piss off the local nazis (heh heh heh )...how's the weather up there mid to late March?...rain?...cold?...wind?...you're right, though, I'll put more feelers out this way and maybe somebody will point me to the right tuner 'nearby'....
