2-3000rpm surge
My bike seems to be surging more now than ever since I got my bigger motor in. It's always done it, even stock and with PC3. If I'm loping around 2500rpm or so it'll just power away up to 3000rpm quite suddenly. Anyone found a fix?
Also, is setting the TPS by the PC3 software accurate?
While playing with mine on the laptop the other day, it suddenly lost the power commander and couldn't seem to find it again. Tried several more times and it would flash on the screen for a few seconds and then lose it. I loaded a new map the day before and had no problems at all. Any clues? I wish that Muzzy ECU wasn't so dang high. Actually, after looking at all the features of the Muzzy ECU, it's not too bad of a price if you add up what it costs for the shift light, ignition cutout, two step, PC3R price and whatever else it can do.

Buy the 9v adapter from dynojet. Lets you apply constant power to the pwr commander, without having to futz around with starting the bike, then hitting the kill switch, etc. Very handy!

I've had to alter maps in the area you speak of...
Let me look at some old maps I've done and then I'll mail you some suggestions...
Did you get a map with your Muzzy kit? If so...would you please mail it to me...I haven't seen one yet and can make some changes to it...for you to try...

Didn't get one from them, Kevin. I'll see if they'll send it to me. I'd appreciate any help. I think it might be one I tried that I got from Entropy along with his custom map. Both are about the same for me. I tried fattening it up at around 4000-6000 at low throttle positions without much, if any, success. All it did was make it miss while cruising at those speeds.
