Glad you called Otis. 21 days left for me over here. I'm ready to come back to the USA.
I haven't seen much of germany, mostly the inside of the hangar I work in. I'm not complaining ,just tired of 7 days a week 12 hrs a day. I've had 2 days off out of the 69 days i've been here.

Yeah, me too about the weather, fucking Michigan. You watch though brother you know how this state has a way of messing with your head. It'll get warm and up to 50 for a few days and we'll all think it's over, then BAM 12" of snow. Crap.

Ahhh.... the kickstand incident. Damned Michigan space cadet....
I'll never forget it Chris. For those who weren't there or whatever, here is the story. We were riding the Blue Ridge Parkway and had been riding a pretty sane pace most of the way. I'm leading and Chris is behind, then Harry the Queer was 3rd in line, after that it was the regular list of degenerate dopehead alcoholic sumbiatches we ride with. I decide to roll and we go. Fuckin' motorcycling bliss, just the right pace for the 12R. We were having a blast. I don't know how many miles we ran like that but it was great. We hit a straight section of road and I see nobody but Chris, so I decide to pull off at this little rest area or wtf ever you wanna call it. Chris fucking jumps off his bike and runs over to give me a high five. He's stoked and talking about how damned cool that was. Then I hear a CRUNCH!!! We look over and his bike is on it's side, rearset broke and other minimal damage.
He actually put his kickstand down, but we parked on a slight downhill grade and fuckstank didn't leave his bike in gear. So you know the rest............
Fuckin' goofy bastard,......but that was a hell of a ride eh???
