hugger question again
Are all zx12r huggers the same will a 2000 work on a 2004?
Or did they change anything if so what year?

I believe that they changed with the change of the swingarms on the A model and B model bikes, that change was from 01-02......I could be wrong though....

All swingarms are the same. 00-05 all the same.

No they are not. I have seen a swingarm from the 1st gen (2000-2001) and the 2nd gen (2002-2005) and they are distinctly different.
In regards to the hugger, one should fit on all years since it uses the chain guard and that is the same on all years.

Gee Beans... with me owning 5 ZX12s.... I think Id know that the hugger would work on ALL years.  :

I know that the swingarms were changed from 01-02, but I do believe that Steve is right, that the dimensions and mounting bolts are the same, the B model swingarms were just lightened some....someone correct me if I am wrong?

HDL... you're correct. The 02s or "B" models have less material in the shock mount area.
Any year ZX12 swingarm will work on ANY year ZX12.
This also goes for:
Taillights
Subframes
Gas tanks and faux covers
rear cowls
mirrors
forks
wheels
chains
airfilters
exhausts
PC3s
brakes until 03.
radiators (less fan assemblies)

exhausts, are a little different on the 02 and up but you can make them work.
Brakes, until 2004
forks, changed in 2004 due to the new brake system

Turboblew...I misunderstood you then. You are right that any swingarm will work on any year 12.
When I read it haha I took it as the swingarms from both gen 12's are the same...which I was like "why the heck is he of all people saying that"...
