The old 750H2

Has anyone seen the h2 craz on e-bay.
Ebay has a spot just for the h2,parts are going as soon as they post and for bucks, a good 750 is going for over $5000.Shit when the bike first came out it was only around what $1500 maby.
I wouldn't mind having one my self just think what they will be worth in another 10yrs.
A friend of mine bought one from a old lady this past summer for $500 and sold it for $3500 the same week.
This is 1974 on ebay now already (36 people) have bid on it and its at $4995.

They were Big Fun and RAW Power (The 1972's the 73's slightly milder and the 74's were tame compared to the 72 but very crude compared to a bike today!

Are there certain motorcycles that become "classics" in the same sense autos do and make them worth more valuable? I am assuming this is one of them, but tell a young guy like me why they are worth so much? I am just trying to educate myself and appreciate some of these older Kawis.

I sure miss my orange 72' H1b 500....

It was my first "big street bike" having nothing but YAM DT1's previously...

Ah, the smell of two-strokes in the morning...

The sound would stampede a heard of cattle @ 3 miles...
