Thanks from Rickey Gadson

Just wanted to say I know it is hard to believe but yes it is true I will be riding Zuke in NHRA.
I hope this does not cause a mutiny????
Seriously though I really appreciate the ongoing support from you guys on this forum, i do read the forums(all of them),just never really get a chance to post.
If and when the success comes in Pro stock it will be a Kawi guy riding what he has to to win, cause I am a kawasaki enthusiast from the heart.

And Yes I am opening up a used Motorcycle dealership called Rickey Gadson's Sportbike Zone in NJ about 15 min from Philadelphia and 10 min from Atco Raceway.
The focus will be on service, accessories, parts and tuning, along with chassis setups, air shifters, swingarms, and all high performance parts.
I will be a distributor for Muzzys,Orient,Brock Davidson, world wide bearings, PM wheels,Hyper plates(aluminum clutch plates) and Lucas high performance motorcycle line of oils.
Won't do alot of engine building(only for a select few). Any engines done will be contracted out to Carpenter or Muzzys.
We have a Dynojet 250 dyno on premises.
Will do transmission work, power commanders, turbo systems, and more.
Welcome all.........see you at the shop!

Ricky, though I'm not big fan of drag racing, I have been and will continue to be a fan of yours. I do wish you the very best of luck for this next season and will hope for the best for you and your fellow Suzuki team members.

I'm also sure that many members here and on the other forums of this site will be interested in many of the products and services your business can provide. Please e-mail fiish_antlers or frEEk (this site's administrators) on working something out on representing your shop on this site. Maybe, if at all possible, some sort of benefit or discount can be arranged for the members here (almost 5,000 strong), similar to what is arranged with many of the active vendors on this site. Not that I'm trying to sell you advertising space (that's Fish's job), but we all know what the importance of an internet presence is. One that is beyond that of your own business's website. You have an excellent collective audience here. One that fits perfectly into you potential mail order target market.

In other words... don't be a stranger. Drop by and visit every once and a while. Even if it is to just tell us how the season is going. Like me, there are others here that do not follow the drag racing scene too closely, but we would still like to hear from the one person who placed the ZX-12R in it's rightful place on the quarter mile.

Again, good luck

RG, you never left Kawasaki, Kawasaki left you. Everyone that Kawasaki has ever left has done better than if they had stayed! Eddie Lawson (many times world Champion on a Yamaha), Wayne Rainey (Many time World Champion on a Yamaha) Rob Muzzy, (Builder of many Chanpionship winning bikes for Kawasaki now to build them for Buell) and Now Rickey Gadson, Many Times World Champion Drag Racer (Soon to be NHRA World Champion) (Let us not forget James "Bubba" Stewart who has made "Kawasaki" several time 125 AMA Motocross Champion) I have yet to see one motorcycle ever win anything without an even better rider Remember, your last championship was 1/3 you, 1/3 Muzzy and the 1/3 (Minority) Kawasaki

Since looking at History is the best way to see the future and what has happened to the other Kawasaki RIders, we will see you This year in the winners Circle and Championship next year (Or maybe you will pull a "Rossi" on us and do it this year! I do not know one person that is "NOT" Pulling for you! (I do not know the people on the Vance -Harley and Army - Suzuki team.)

I am a Kawasaki enthusiast from the heart too, but I also can tell the difference between the rider/driver and the machine they use.

I think you have true fans because you are who you are and not because of what machine you use. Being a class act doesn't come anywhere but from the inside. Rickey, you're a class act. Kawasaki didn't put it there, and Suzuki won't take it away.

Best of luck to you in all you do.

Rickey,

Congratulations. We are fans of yours not what bike you ride!! You have our support even on the Zuki. I have been a Kaw fan from the beginning but I did stray to the Zuki GSX 1100R for a couple of years but don't hold it against me. I love the 12 !! Thanks for the picture with you, me and my son. It hangs in my son's room. You are and always have been a class act. Let's do this in NHRA even on the Zuki.

I guess I'll have to buy some Zuki t-shirts!! Good Luck
