OT: This makes me sick to my stomach....
OK, I copied this from another forum. It's moved me so much that I had to copy it here.
Ok I know this forum is about motorcycles - but sometimes there are issues and events so shocking that we all need be made aware of....
I can not believe the injustice - I can not believe that we allow this senseless slaughter to continue....
This is a horrible violent injustice. There is a cult group of evil power mongers (Their cult nickname is Namuh )... they choose to find a 'lesser' (a peaceloving group Eert ) group... they go to the Eerts home - where they have lived all their lives. The Namuh's slaughter the Eert's in cold blood. Then they carry the dead bodies to special 'lots' where they display the Eerts lifeless bodies.
Other Namuhs come to these lots to find the perfect corpse. They purchase the Eert - then take them to their homes - where they prop up the corpses inside. They then cover the body in jewels and adornments - often involving the entire family unit - children are actually encouraged to participate with this event. Although the odor of a rotting corpse may be totally sickening to many people - the Numahs find it somewhat comforting and enjoy it wafting throughout their domicile during this annual festivity.
The corpse becomes a central focal point during the cultural event - often families will place the Eert corpse in a window where other may see their adorned corpse.
This festivity ( so to say ) lasts anywhere for weeks to months - but ends on a particular date. Due to the rotting disposition of the corpse - the Namuhs come to the time to dispose of these bodies. They remove the adornments - often saving them for use for the next annual festivity. Then carry out the rotted Eert corpses and toss them away. There are a special group of Namuhs who's duties include carrying away these corpses and disposing of them out of view of the rest of the tribe.
This is a horrible , murderous assault condoned and accepted by many government and countries. It is totally unfair that one such powerful tribe be allowed to murder a weaker group and then to brazenly display them - all in the name of a cultural ' festival '.
I know this is a pretty heavy subject for a motorcycle forum - but I need people to be aware of this horrible injustice. You may be surprised to know that there are people in this state which practice and condone this meaningless slaughter.
I have found evidence of this even here in San Jose ...
