It is the issue when after two failures you insist that everyone's transmission is a ticking time bomb

From what I've seen at this point, The stock gears will hold up better than undercut. The Billet will hold up better than either.
I've seen first hand how undercutting will weaken an already "poor" design.

YOU have had a failure on a stock gear, and now you have installed a trans w/ undercut stock gears (Is this correct?)..If so, you may have a ticking time bomb.

Only time will tell. I would prefer to know of a potential weakness ahead of time, knowing how I'm going to use my bike.
Like I said in my previous post, hindsight is 20/20 and I have already paid over $4,000 in stupid tax. $220 a gear for Billet is CHEAP insurance if you RACE your modified 12.

I'm not "insisting" that "everyone's" 12 is a Ticking Time Bomb, I'm providing information form a Real World experience and sharing it. I for one will NEVER have a ZX12 transmission "Undercut", and will warn anyone who is concidering it.

I don't see how. One undercut, one stock and one unknown (probably stock). This was sufficient evidence for you to invest in stronger gears, but it's not sufficient enough to say that the stock OR undercut trans WILL break, it's just a matter of time. In that case, it's just a matter of time before you break those billet gears. Anything CAN break, Tick tock...

This is correct, however, judging by all of the people making ALOT more power than this bike will ever make, I'm not worried IN THE LEAST. Saying my head is in the sand when there are many people succesfully running this trans in bikes making alot more power than this one ever will... well, my head in the sand is better than being up my ass

...and you can't say for certain that the undercutting is what caused your failure. You apparently put that trans through the ringer, and alot more punishment with all the track days and extended amounts of time in and out of the throttle in the same gear. For all you know the BILLET gears would have failed under the same conditions.
