OT Ferrari!!!!
Driving through Rock Creek Park today near the Zoo, I had the window down and first heard this sound and then saw the car. I think it was a D-40 Ferrari and he was maybe doing 40, but in 1st or second gear. That High piched whine along with the Gear noises and the Red Flash sounded so good that If I was richm I would buy the car for "THAT" Sound alone!! What radio? Why would you need one?? Has anyone ever heard the "Sound" I am talking about ??

Hey Vincet - I've hear it . There is a Ferrari dealer over on route 9w in Jersey, sometimes if you are riding around there, you can catch one of them driving by. GREAT sound!

I "THOUGH" I had heard everything, but that SOUND was just too beautiful not to speak about. If I lived where you do, I would take a camera with good sound and make a film and sell it. I would be your first customer!

I am not a Ferrari fan more a Porsche fan (No pun intended) but anyone that can make something that sounds that good can charge what ever they want to and someone will pay it!

MM, until I heard that, it was a friend of mine GT40 with the engine about 1 foot from my head that was the most beautiful sound up to that time!

At one of the Gap 12R Get Togethers, the was a Ferrari ralley going on there at the same time. If you think one sounded cool, try to imagine about 100 Ferraris in one place, all going through the gears on a tight back highway and included everything from a F50 to a Dino. Now that was a SWEET sound!

I see and hear all kinds of exoticars in Rancho Santa Fe and points nearby on a weekly basis...yup, those eye-talian V8s and V12s sound different than everybody else's V8 and V12...must be the firing order, right?...and I also love hearing those piped Ducs and piped inline-fours rolling in and out of throttle through the tree-canopied curvy roads...suhweeeeeeeeet!

An Awful thing I am going to say, but a few years ago the Kodak #4 "NASCAR" had a different set of Pipes and had a Very High pitched sound that you could hear over everyone else! So I think Pipes could do it also!
