The 28 gallon they sell is a sweetheart, I have one, it is a Sanborn with a Coleman label. There are 2 types oil-less and oil sump. The sump type is the one to get, it makes about half the noise. The recovery rate is very good. I haven't seen an oil-less at Harbor Freight but check to make sure. You did yourself good.

That's the one! Sanborn, with a Coleman label. They loaded it in the back of the truck. Picked up one of the 100' reels and hose while I was there, so I can drag the hose out the shop and work with air tools just about anywhere.

One thing I really like about the Sanborn is the adjustable regulator. Ie; you can have 135 psi in the tank, and regulate it down to 40 psi out to the hose.

Those oil free jobs remind me of a Cox airplane engine. Not very efficient either.

Like I said it's a sweetheart, my wife got it for me. I just smile when it turns on, the damn thing is so quiet. I have a 50' on a reel. I need to replace the hose, for some reason the hose is "bleeding oil?" It's a Goodyear hose and there is some nasty stuff weeping from the hose. So when you touch it, the damn thing leaves a nasty black mark. I am going to buy a neon orange one that is vinyl coated and much easier to deal with. The hose touched the Vette an left a mark that I had to scrub off. Fucking Goodyear.

Speaking of shop goodies, I just bought a glass bead cabinet, just a little guy with doors on each end. The thing works awesome. Here is the ultimate shop goodie, a Miller TIG welder. Got an EconoTIG and the thing works like a charm. AC/DC, I can do aluminum, stainless, mild steel, anything.

Was looking at the powdercoating system. Just don't know how I'd bake all the stuff I'd want to powdercoat.

Yeah, baking was my problem. You can buy the gun for about $800 but I think the oven was over a thousand. I would really like to powder coat my swingarm.

Harbor Freight has a powder coating system, probably pretty cheezy but worth a look. There is another place that sells a kit and I hear it is a good one, but I'll be damned if I can remember the name. Something like hot coat. I remember it being about $300ish.
How to cook them, Go to the second hand appliences and get an old oven, plenty enough heat to do the trick. I'm going to do a quick search right now and see if I can find it.

Eastwood has both a cheap powder coating kit and a more expensive one. I have had the cheap kit for some time now and have used it extensively. Work's great, excellent results. Only thing I could find that would stand up to brake fluid.
