ECU & Fuel Pump(Not needed!)
I plan to check all of my wires tonight and If they all check out, then the "Only" thing left is the ECU! My feeling is that they are fairly sturdy, but that have gone bad. DOes anyone have one I can Borrow or Buy? Harry? Mad Mike? Bergie? TB?
MM You have mail! Anyone have an "Extra" Fuel Pump that they can loan or sell?
See the other post the Bike is fixed!

You know I would give you mine, but my bikes are at the GA house. If you want to drive to Lawrenceville GA I will give you the keycode to get in my garage and grab it!

ECU
Put your ECU on another 2000 bike if you have one close. If not you can overnight it to someone to have it checked. I have checked several on my car and doesnt hurt a thing. I would not put a good one on your bike until you know if yours is good or not. You might have shorted somthing when working on the bike. It sounds like the anti-theft in the key to me. The grey wire should only read about 9 volts not 12. If 12 thats the problem. The resistor in the switch drops the voltage. We cut all of that out in our cars and put a 1/2 watt 100 ohm resistor in line. I will check my stuff and see if I have a ECU.

Catman in Sweden said the same thing that it should be about 10 Volts because of the Resistor! Could that cause the bike not to start? Or Run Badly and then crap out?
I can go by Radio Shack and get a resistor to test this out, any Idea what size resistor I Should get? (Thanks)

Bergie!! I do not need to go to Georgia?? Also Thanks MM! The #1 person on this site!
Here is the Latest! The Expresion "We have Met the Enemy and he is us"! Just might hold true here.
Anything Doug Meyer says, I take "Extremely serious" it can be a Bright sunshining day and if he says it is going to rain, I take a rain suit.
Knowing that the bike will run on spray (Starting Fluid) really lessen the chances that it is the ECU, but does not 100% Rule it it either. Bypassing the pump and holding the Throttle WOT and seeing the dribble out of the injectors tells me that it needs more fuel. Driving old cars and (of course being Po) I have run out of gas and had crap in the fuel tanks which allowed them to run but not well. Add to this Speaking to Pierre in SA telling me of his experience with bikes I have come to this conclusion.
Remember I made the tank I use, I have had to sipon the fuel out many times. The Larger the hose the faster you remove it. I have a large hose that just fits the opening and "Sometimes is Chaffed on the sides when removing it." Take this and maybe too many fuel bottles that may not have been strained properly, and you can have a Clogged filter / Screen. There are 2 places in the Pump this can happen and tonight I will take the Pump out, clean everything and Bypass the Filters and install an External in line FI Filter, then try it again. For the First time, the possible problem matches the symptons and I actually feel like this does have a Shot.
If no luck, Mr. Bergie, expect a call and MM I do have a FedEx account number so I can get it on Monday if the Pump fix and / or Bergie's Pump does not cure this.
The Good news is, When I went through something like this with my vanb one time, eventually the cure was easy! I only had one part that had not been replaced (EGR Valve) and when I replaced it, the Van ran fine.
I am running out of things that can be tested or replaced!
