Beans, I was at Ponoco when Spencer and ROberts were dicing it out during a race and Kevin Cameron came over and asked me if I could see the difference in Braking between the two. I watched for several laps and he would say, did you see that? I never did until he explained what he was looking at. ROberts bike always looked more stable in the Braking and the following turns while Spencer always looked out of control.

The Difference was, that Roberts would put on the Rear brake before the Front and the Bike would "Sit" down with both wheels doing the braking. Spencer Put on the Front Brake First and then the rear Brake which was already unloaded and was all over the place before the turn.

As soon as I got home, I made a full float rear Brake with the Reaction rod just above the swing arm pivot and adjustable. When I put on the rear brake, it pulled the rear of the bike down (Anti DIve Rear) and then when I put on the front Brakes, I really stopped! Watch for this on the tapes!

and that's all i have to say about THAT site....

be VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY cautious of ANYTHING on that site. there is so much pure and total BS on it that you TRULY need to research anything on it carefully from other REPUTABLE sources. that site is NOT a reputable source....

Im only saying that in the site he showed a zx7r a guy built with a very especial mecanism for braking, with a likage for tunnig it.

If a photo is not a reputable sourse....then what...

I think that Pat. Mac Givern does not have time to invent that....

PS. after you ride a bike built by him (several winners have) you will see his BS.
PSS. He built me a engine.....and his shit works.

a photo of a polished piston, claiming it has run in an engine, is total and pure BS...

real life does not equal that ;P

i have NO DOUBTS that his people can build an engine, and NO DOUBTS that his break in procedure WORKS well. but his sales pitch is like a snake oil ad.

and THAT is where the BS is at.

there is plenty of good info on the site, but again, plenty of crap too.

a photo is good evidence, IF it is not falsely used.. ;P

i've not looked in on the brake thing, (in fact, i refuse to give that site any hits i don't have to) it's just that i spend plenty of time trying to explain to people WHY those pictures of his polished pistons are BS..and WHY his claims of zero blowby are inherently false, and WHY his claims of zero oil past rings is BS....and WHY his claims that all crosshatching is gone after 20 miles.... etc etc etc etc etc etc

You better look at tthe brake thing is very interesting.... its better than spend time telling people of his pistons.
