show the actual lies.

i have YET to have anyone be able to rpovide a SINGLE instance where G W Bush LIED about the WMD situation, or iraq for that matter. and i have LOOKED.

and NO ONE can give me a real lie, i have asked REPEATEDLY in many places when confronted by the same baseless charge

And, what does it have to do with a zx12r?

How about the freedom to ride without fear of al queada putting a car bomb on some random street in your neighborhood, made with the stuff Hussein's regime was trying to learn how to build? How about freedom to go to work, and not worry about some asshat with a little suitcase filled with U235 and the means to create a critical mass/geometry at thepush of a button?

you're right though, this has NOTHING to do with ZX12R, as such the thread should be deleted right?

or does it bother you that someone might have a different view on the world thanyou do, and we must all shut up because it hasnothing to do with the zx12r?

sooo your homework for the day: Show me the lies

funny, even the Kerry campaign is not saying Bush lied about WMDs...

I can't believe all you pro-war people! you are friggin nuts!! The middle east have been having "holy" wars for the last 10,000 years!! That will never change as long as they exist. You can't FORCE FREEDOM on people! Kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think? Why don't we go liberate CHINA next? They are by far the biggest oppressors on the planet! Shit they run down people in the middle of the town square with tanks, & say they would do it again. The point is, the people of a country NEED to REQUEST help, NOT to force it on them! Kerry sucks? Maybe? But BUSH sucks too!! And he has had his chance to get Bin Laden & blew it!! Now let someone else try to get the job done!

I never insinuated FORCING freedom on anyone - but I do support military might to remove oppressive/dangerous regiemes (ie: JAPAN 1940's, ITALY 1940's, GERMANY 1940's). All of those countries were assisted throught the use of force - and they all CHOSE freedom. I'm hoping that given the choice (a REAL choice ) Iraq will choose the same.

BTW - saying that "the middle east has been fighting for 10,000 years" is also a bit pesimistic. Most of the WORLD has been fighting for the same amount of time - the middle east is not super unique in that regard. Only in recent history have larger wars been (thankfully) lessened.

Oh - one more thing, "getting" Bin Laden really won't do much. He's really a puppet figurehead on a larger problem. I'm not saying we shouldn't put significant effort into capturing him, but even with Bin Laden gone, groups like Al Queda will continue. The problem is much larger than one man. We need to crush the coordinated strongholds of support for the terrorists (through battle), ensure that a "vaccume" of worse power does not fill the void (through diplomacy and elections etc) and foster the countries as they re-build. Similary to how we delt with Japan/Germany/Italy.

The Middle East IS UNIQUE!! Never in recorded history, has that region had peace for any length of time!! If we are not 'forcing' freedom, what are we doing? We destroyed the oppresive govt. so why don't we just leave & let the people take care of it themselves? This reminds me WAAY too much of Vietnam, thousands upon thousands of good americans lives lost & the north took over anyway! No matter what administration is in, we should either win or get out!! The way it is now is totally unacceptable to me. Whoever is in office, I would vote against! Because, they are not handling it very well at all! Next, president please!

god. Please stop comparing the political/social landscape of the middle east to vietnam. god - PLEASE stop. Vietnam was heavily supported by the (then) soviet union and was a pawn of a larger conflict of idiolegy. IN addition - ASSHOLES like John Kerry were using the difficulties of that conflict to further their own twisted political agenda. AND HE WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT NOW!?!? ACK!

Well, at least Kerry went over there!! Instead of helping some politician with a election campaign as Bush did, supposedly! I think anybody in vietnam during that time was more at risk than someone working in a politicians office here! But that would not be because Bush was working on his own twisted political agenda, could it? Their both not that great. But what I know for sure is, Bush ain't doing the job!! Next!!

BTW, is there a good dead versus a bad dead? Dead is DEAD! The reference to Vietnam was made solely to state the fact, that in made no difference to the final outcome. Not, if it was politically correct or not.

Kerry did go to vietnam. Lots of people went to vietnam. Most were heros. Kerry on the other hanbd, used his time in Vietnam to expand his political career at the expense of others whom he served with - AND at the expense of our country. His quest to pursue greater noteriety for political gain helped to drive a deep wedge into our country, from which we are still recovering. This is the man that you want to represent us as our leader in war? I would rather Bush BY FAR - even if he is somehow diminished in your mind because "he didn't go" to Vietnam.

I just get dumbfounded when Kerry supporters bring up Vietnam. I mean, Kerry's true a-hole stipes came out during that period. He crapped on America and his fellow troops and MAY have even been "less than honorably" discharged (we won't know, because Kerry REFUSES TO THIS DAY to sign the appropriate release forms for us to view all of this service records). Nice. Way to lead buddy.

But at least Kerry went over there, Bush didn't! Advantage Kerry! It's just like anything else in life. Doing it makes you different than someone who didn't, even if you sucked at it! Take motorcycle racing for example, even if you always came in last place, you still know more about the actual experience than someone who never raced.

And I bet you the Pentagon would have no problem finding Kerry's records. Unlike Bush's, whose got lost or destroyed! Right a high profile person, His father was what? A ambassador at that time? And the records got lost? Sure, maybe on purpose!

That is just plain crap. "advantage Kerry"? WTF does that mean? Leadership is about making good choices, having the right amount of conviction, possessing integrety, consistancy AND to a small extent, possessing life experience. It is ALL of these things. Just "going somewhere" or "doign something" does not make you a good leader. Kerry and his disgusting conduct after Vietnam, his terrible senate record, his "armchair quarterback" style of pursuing political gain (which he also used durign the Vietnam era) demonstrate HORRIBLE leadership qualities.
I have no understanding of your motorcycle analogy either - OK, maybe Bush doesn't know as much as KErry about the swift boat war during the Vietnam era. So? Are we fighting the same war? Are we fighting during the same time? Are we even fighting for the same reasons? No. I motorcycle race frequently, but I'm DAMN sure I don't no anything about airplane racing. Two TOTALLY different things. One does not translate to the other.
