tired of being injured by idiots; a bud made this up for me to send to my congressman. If you agree, cut/paste/edit & send to yours. Change will not happen unless WE make it happen...

Dear {Insert politician name of choice},
I am a {your area} citizen who regularly commutes on public roads via both car and motorcycle. On a daily basis I am witness to other motorists blatantly putting the lives of their fellow citizens at risk with their negligent and irresponsible actions on our public roads.
I believe this behavior is completely unacceptable, and as a concerned citizen I would like to see something done about it in the form of harsher punishments for those who injure and/or kill others on public roads with careless neglect in the operation of a motor vehicle.
Population density in the {your area} and its resultant traffic congestion often leads to frustration and "road rage" on the part of our motorists. This careless and negligent behavior of motorists on our roads must be dealt with severely to help provide a deterrent to this behavior and its tragic effects which all too often include loss of life and/or serious injury to other law abiding citizens.
