1290 problem

just got my bike back... got the 1290 kit mapped and stuff made 190 hp runs strong but, when i hit the throttle and let off of it, it cuts off. this really sucks when riding. Is this a mapping problem or is this something that is a result of a line not being properly hooked up on the throttle bodies? Please help

1290 akrapovic k&n muzzy shifter 10inch arm

hoping for some 5.70's

is this possible with mid to low 1.40 sixty foots?

Both of my 1270's will do this every once in a while...I have had it happen to me while decelerating at a stop light..that type of thing. I would assume that it's mapping...but I have no idea how to fix it. I think the first step would be to identify if the rpm at which the problem first occurs is consitant. If it is consistant I would try to add fuel to the 0 and 2% columns at that rpm and also 500 rpm's above and below and see if that makes it better or worse.

Add some fuel to the "0" Throttle position (5 to 10% above and below the problem and 15 to 20% at the exact RPM where the problem is) this is like an accelerator pump to give you a little fuel when the throttle is closed

It's all in the mapping.

What Doug said and the Mapping problem is usually in the area where I mentioned. When you close the throttle, you are getting little or no fuel. When you get back on it, the "Extra" fuel you need is missing and the Bike stumbles!
