I use www.printroom.com Its free at least not best quality.. But you can link pics...

I guess it's bandwidth I guess it's the bandwidth required to host pics that are on other sites. Supposedly, that was PhotoPoint's downfall. In a kinda sick funny way, you almost gotta laugh over the fact that PhotoPoint recommened it's members to move their pics to EZ-Prints. Now, where's EZ-Prints?
It looks as if almost everyone is getting out of the "pic hosting" business. If I remember correctly, when Jeroen had his site, you could permenetly link pics straight to his host's server. That was probably one of the reasons they had their "disagreements" over bandwidth and the host eventually shut him down (I REALLY don't know this for a "fact").
Now's the time I guess I should ask fish, frEEk and Mad Dog if it's possible for this site to host a LIMITED number of pics. It'd be great if you could just link and number of pics via this site, but we might have to restrict it to something like technical oriented pics only.
That is, if it can be done at all. Somebody's gotta pay for that extra bandwidth and it appears that larger size picks can really suck it up!

it can definitely be done, but the bandwidth could kill us, same as everyone else. imho, the biggest problem would be how to decide what is "limited" and who gets to upload what, etc

As a workaround, what I would suggest for right now is to just post a link to your album page, which will typically give an index of pics, etc.
