OT.... question about rust in my Bialetti
I have a pretty nice 8 cup Bialetti... not your standard octagonal version... it's a fancy-shamcey one...
anyways... I put it away for about 6 months and now that I pulled it out to use it, I see that the water reservoir (bottom half) has rust on the bottom/inside of it...
can I still use it? Is it still food safe or do I have to throw it away? Also is there any food safe chemical I can try? I tried some "CLR" but it didnt get rid of the rust.

I think rust in a cut is bad...rust in you Bialetti is OK. Just make sure you have your shots. What the hell do I know, I don't even know what a Bialetti is  .

water goes in bottom... coffee goes in middle... wickedly stong coffee gathers in top...

very pretty! It would only be used as an ornament around my house. I normally don't drink coffee...unless there's Baileys in it and whipped cream on top.
