Spokane Raceway Pics
Ended up in Spokane for the 23rd of July. Had a blast. Got some new scratches on my silver bullet now though.

Had a 2004 GSXR 1000, a 2001 GSXR 1000, a 2004 Daytona 600, a 200X R6 and me on my 2000 zx12. The litter bikes were running hard posted lots of laps in the 1:35 range, I was running 1:42-1:45 range on the 12. The 600's were running about 1:50-2:05 range. Everyone had a blast.

If you are familiar with Spokane at all... turn 10 is the last turn before the 3/4 mile straight. For my last lap of the session I was going to try to turn a 1:40 lap, so I drove into the last corner a bit hot and it was holding just fine so I rolled into the throttle a touch to start accelling off the apex. Must have been a bit heavy handed on the throttle cause before I knew it I was down, at about 75 mph. Didn't hit the right side until I got to the dirt.
All in all not a bad day. I was running hard and right on the edge so ... I can't complain. Thank god for my leathers, the next morning I felt like I had got my ass whooped, but I still have all my skin in the original places. I have a little bit of raw video if you are interested. You can just barely see my helmet as I go down.

Diablo Corsa. The "track day" version of the pirelli diablo. For the money..... I probably won't be running those again. I will step up to the full track tires or go back to street tires if I am just going to run easy.

This is the next lap. Notice the little bitch on the red bike just starting into the turn. I started out behind steve.

Steve did pass me once...... when I ran out of gas and was exiting the track.

Hmmm... You should check the "Track Day" section a bit more often.
