State Farm always wins out as the lowest on past posts thru the years. Caution though ... they didn't include PIP on my last years coverage and didn't explicitly advise me. When I went to make a claim on my medical, I noticed it didn't appear on my most recent policy. It didn't affect me because I claimed the medical expenses on my work Insurance that had a $75 max on hospital versus the former 80% PIP coverage on hospitalization. The down side is if you have a rider injured, they come after you in litigation!
update: I was quoted $472/yr today no PIP and $250 deductible in Brevard County Florida

I went with State Farm this year and paid half of what I was paying before. The only problem is the amount of paper that they send you. Tree Killers!

Cant pass a chance to BAG on Progressive
I went with Country Insurance ( Country Financial )
I am saving about 65% now compared to Progressive......
So far, The new company does not distinguish between
Sportbikes, or Cruisers, or whatever. Some out there do!!

I PAID 262.00 A YEAR FOR NINE YEARS on my zx11 w/ progressive. Bought the 12 and they wanted 1,140.00 ayear!!! I asked them "why the big jump?" They reply "the zx12 is a "high performance" bike. I say "you mean the 11 wasn't a high performance bike????" They say "nope." The voice inside my head says "fuck you w/ a red hot poker,PROGRESSIVE!!!!!".......I'm now w/ state farm.....267.00 a year full coverage. Progressive wanted 287.00 for just liability!!!....assholes

Robin Fisher in Titusville...ask for Amy or Traci 268-2345; I just was quoted yesterday by Traci on Dagger's bike, and I totaled my 12 last May but it was settled as the other driver's fault.
As far as riding ... I'm game if you don't mind being degraded by the company of a Harley or Vulcan for the time being

insurance
Insurance companies usually base their rates on their loss experience and Progressive has written a lot of policies in our area. An example of their problem is that we have sold four GSXR1000s in the past few months and all were totaled by experienced riders. Of the two ZX12s we recently sold only one is still on the road. The other hit a car head on. Somebody has to pay the bill. This has always been a problem and I carry only liability which is very cheap. The thinking is that if I total the bike and can walk away I am way ahead of the game. It makes you become a better rider , if you break it you have to pay for it.
Many banks will waive the full coverage requirement if you ask.
