Broke my K&N's - GRRR

Well, I finally broke my 1st edition K&N filters. Yep, I was being a bozo and pulling them out by the bolt holes. I tore one of the holes. I think I can still use the bike untill the next set arrives (thank you Spencer Cycle!!) - and the next set is the 2nd edition, so I shouldn't have this problem in the future. What I want to know is, how the HELL does K&N think we are gonna pull these filters out WIHTOUT using the bolt holes? I mean, they stick like GLUE in there!

The BMC filters scare me. I'd probably go with the "race" set and blow up my engine .

K&N's for the 12 are pieces of shit. BMC is the way to go.

I have BMC race and street. The race seem to filter just fine and they fit great. You can get them really cheap on ebay sometimes... new.

death..... send in your K&N warranty card. Then file a claim. Remember, they have a 1,000,000 mile warranty. Ask me how I know.
