Highland Cycles!!!

Would you guys share some of your experiences positive and negative and what you learned from them. Please post what works and doens't.....maybe even what you have tried. There are very few seriously running the zx12 with "deep" track experience that is talking about information that works for the zx12. Thanks

How far do you want to go?There are a lot of ways to make it fast, and now, quick too.If you like low 9's,leave the motor stock, and slam it,gear it,pipe it and ride it.If you want high 8's,do big bore, and get at least a 3 inch arm,if you want mid 8's,add some juice to that combo, you want low 8's or better,at least an 8inch arm,add headwork, and up the shot of spray,if you want those times without any more hp then we have covered, then run some kick-ass suspension, hyperpro and pensky have rear shocks that will do the trick, combine a macintosh arm, lock up clutch, lighter wheels,mcr2 tire or slick, then of course a turbo and a stock motor with the chasis, suspension combo, and everything else listed, the 12 should be there,8.30's at 170 were done last year in Houston without all of these mods,to top it off,Muzzy's has cranks to bring it into the 1400cc+ range, capenter racing(believe it or not)has produced motor combos for the 12 w/195 hp,215hp,and a reported 230+hp big motor-last year, lee's has been building em,SBM has em,shit, the list is growing, how much money do you have? How much skill do you have? What new ideas can you bring to the table? As with any bike with this much attention directed to drag racing,as w/the Hyabusa, the sky is the limit my friend.
