Thanks....
Reminds me of my wife's first encounter with traffic. Went something like this......
I planned a route where it started off on a moderately curvy 2-lane back road, then some city stop-n-go traffic, concluding with some 55 mph divided 4-lane highway driving.
I decided it would be best to ride behind her to help keep cars from riding to close to her. As we went down the 2-lane back road she was riding the white line!?!? :o When we came to a stop I told her to stay in the middle so cars coming from roads and driveways on the right don't clip her.
We headed into town and wouldn't you know it we didn't get stopped by one light. So much for the stop-n-go!?!?!? I had to zip in front of her just to make sure we got up on the highway. This highway has cross streets and traffic lights but she must have been timing them because we didn't catch any until we were almost home. That's when it got squirrely. We were approaching a light that had just turned yellow. I already made up my mind to stop but she was indecisive. The light turned red and I didn't think she was going to stop because she never rolled off the throttle. She did engage the clutch and apply the brake but when I pulled up next to her she was sitting there and the bike was taching about 5K!?!? :o The next light was worse, the same thing happened except this time she made this ugly looping right turn through the red light and pulled onto the shoulder and stalled. Thank GOD we were 3 blocks from the house and there was no incident other that doodoo draws. I was ready to make push the bike home; that scared the shit outta me, her too.
The next time out was much better except she dropped her bike at a stop sign and I later broke a master link and we had to ride 2-up on the lil Kawi to get the truck and retreive my bike!?!? She actually wanted me to ride bitch, errr as the passenger. :o I told her she was crazy, not enough skill or strenght to haul my big ass home on that lil bike. So this spring she gets an upgrade to go with mine and then who knows, she might become one of the FluffRyders!!!

[In the worring dept]
My wife worries about everything I do. She thinks I'm always extreme. I over clock and water cool my pc.
I really dont see anything wrong with over clocking. Other than the occasional windows melt down.
She couldnt understand why the LT-1 needed a supercharger.
And the air/oil suzuki engines were yesterdays engines. And why I needed another new bike because it had a tighter valve angle. And why the brand new CBR-XX needed the engine torn down. And why the CBR-xx was junk because it only made 148 hp. And why the zx12r engine....
I think women are more of the "if it aint broke why fix it" school.
I say "It doesnt have to be broken to be fixed".
Fixing is a broad term. No pun intended.
But my wife is real cool. She rides also. She likes pistol shooting. Althou I cant get her to fire up the Dillon press and make me ammo yet.
She understands risk and risk management. She drove a C dragster for several years back in the late 70's and early 80's back when Bunny Berkett was racing and others. There wernt many just a handfull.
She never crashed bad thank god but of course she always knew it was dangerous.
She rides a 89 cb-1. 400 4 valve I4 with a kerker.
She used to ride more but she hasnt at all in a few years now. She doesnt like the wind and wants a fairing.
So I showed her a picture of the 954. She isnt convinced she needs it yet. I think, I do thou.
I mean she does.
I think I worry more about her when she rides then she when I ride.
speaking of chicks and bikes
Hey red elk, I need, I mean I would like that picture of 32's bike and that blonde again if ya dont mind.
That was one of the finest pictures ever. And I cant find it.
